Success

The wedding show was a great success. I really enjoyed meeting with all the brides. The 2012 Wedding weekends are booking up quickly. I am even starting to book 2013. Contact me if you are interested in having a wedding consultation.

Wedding Show

At the last minute I was asked to do the wedding show that is on Sunday. I have been so busy lately but decided I would do the show. I don't want any brides attending a show and not getting to taste dessert! What fun would a wedding show be without samples! This week I have spent the majority of my free time working on getting ready for Sunday. Nissa from Nissa Nakia Photography has been a huge help. We revamped my logo and got it all ready for Sunday. Come say hi to me at the Verizon Wireless Civic Center from 10am - 3pm on Sunday, and don't forget to grab your copy of Southern Minnesota Bride Magazine. It is debuting at the show!

I have also had a ton of orders to fill this week. There are a lot of birthdays this month. Mom's have gotten so creative and I have been able to create some fun pops that are delivered to schools. I have also been busy making birthday cakes this week. I truly love what I do and I am so glad to be given this opportunity. Here are some photos from a few of my treats this week:

Welcome Back

With a new website comes a new blog. I will start posting here again. Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you all had a great day and enjoyed some special treats. I am excited to talk about the new things happening with Decadent Desserts. There are a lot of fun things to come so stay tuned. In the mean time make sure to eat something sweet tonight. Conversation Cookies

I always try to come up with new things for Valentine's Day every year. My new adventure this year was bouquets. They are a unique gift and who doesn't like edible gifts.

Diamond Cookies

I had a request for cookies for a little girl who was turning 6. She wanted cookies to take to school and hand out. Her request was pink diamond cookies with a green 6 on them. I love the special requests and the unique things that people come up with!

Hockey Cookies

This week I was asked to make some hockey themed cookies for a little boys birthday party. He wanted hockey skates and hockey jerseys. The request was purple and gold with the number 18 on them. Here is the result...the mom was so excited to show her son!

Red Velvet Cheesecake

YUMMY!! I absolutely love making this cheesecake. It puts two of my favorite things into one fabulous dessert! Red Velvet Cake turned into a fabulous cheesecake. It even has a cream cheese frosting on top. I don't think it can get any better.
